It wasn't actually at Princeton University that Einstein was a scholar. It was the Institute for Advanced Study – a separate institution, founded in Princeton in 1930 to bring together some of the world's greatest minds to collaborate on intellectual discovery and research. Einstein was one of its first scholars.
